Al Unser ( Indy 1970 )

"This picture is of 'Baby Al', as his brother Bobby Unser liked to call him."

"Did you know that there were 2 Johnny Lightning Specials in the '70 Indy 500 field?

The second car was #15 driven by Joe Leonard.

One week to the day after Al's Indy win Joe won the race at Milwaukee in the #15 JL Special!"

Joe Leonard

"Here is a picture of Joe Leonard in the #15 Johnny Lightning Special from 1970. This is the other Johnny Lightning car that raced at Indy. This car was the sister car to Al Unser's #2 car.  They were identical PJ Colts.  In 1971 this car became the Samsonite Special."
